The safety and wellbeing of our students is incredibly important to us at WERK WITH BWAY. We have developed strict and comprehensive safety protocol for our in-person intensives during the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes: Students must show proof of vaccination Masks are now optional for students/faculty during intensives Masks or other facial coverings that cover the nose and mouth must be worn in common areas High touch-points such as door handles and pianos will be sanitized regularly along with music stands, chairs and tables Common areas will be industrially disinfected at the start of each day and then sanitized continuously throughout the day with close attention paid to high-touch areas such as door handles and vending machines Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the facility and inside studios Anyone with flu-like symptoms are to stay home and will not be permitted to attend the remainder of the intensive (tuition can be credited towards the future)

Yes! WERK WITH BWAY is by-audition only program. To audition/apply, click "APPLY" on your intensive of interest or scroll to the bottom of the intensive's landing page. You'll need to submit some basic information, your headshot/resume, and a short singing audition video of a musical theatre selection (16-32 bars is great). Cell phone recordings are more than acceptable!

Applications receive a reply within 2-7 business days by email. Admission is rolling so the sooner you apply, the higher your chances of securing a spot to the intensive.

The average day of an intensive runs from 10am-6pm with a one-hour lunch break each day. Intensives are currently held at Sunlight Studios in NYC (321 W 44th St Suite #202, New York, NY 10036).

Our intensives are primarily geared towards teenagers and young adults, however, we've trained students as young as 13 years old and over 30 years old! Students at our program are separated into smaller groups to guarantee you'll be working with people of similar age and experience.

Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the start of the intensive will receive a full refund. Cancellations received between 8 and 30 days will be refunded the remainder payment (if paid) but not the initial downpayment of half tuition. Cancellations received 7 or fewer days prior to the start of the workshop will not receive a refund.

We offer the option of setting up a payment plan to all students who prefer paying the tuition over mutliple installments. This allows students to place a smaller deposit towards their tuition to reserve a spot. We just require that tuition is paid in full by the start of the intensive. More information about setting up a payment plan will be found in your acceptance email. We also offer a limited number of partial scholarships to students who qualify. If this is something that you would need to attend the intensive, please request information on how to apply upon receiving your acceptance email. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer a partial scholarship.

Tuition covers the entirety of the classes included in the intensive. It does not cover housing, however, we are able to provide recommendations for discounted hotel accomodations.
